essay ranked #2 our favorite story
Our Favorite Story was ranked second because of the fondness my sister Jacqui and I hold for this story. My goal was to put a memory we recite at family gatherings into written word. The most difficult part of this essay was admitting how I still fear the wrath of the mother as an adult. This essay is written in first person point of view through narration. Strolling down memory lane, recalling how much fun Jacqui and I had together, was my favorite part of writing this essay. The following quote “Jacqui and I were inseparable, always a pair” is a perfect description of our relationship. I think my honest depiction of how quickly I came up with my mastermind plans as a teen, is the best quality of this essay. If I were to make revisions to this essay, I would include examples of the numerous times Jacqui cracked under pressure and ratted us all out to our mom.
